World Record Event Planned At LSLCA
Proceeds To Benefit "Project Zachary"

A Guinness World Record attempt will be held in Lake Saint Louis on Saturday, July 26th at 4p.m. at the Lake Saint Louis Community Association Clubhouse, located at 100 Cognac Court. Participants will attempt again to break the record for the longest continuous (connected) line of individuals floating on air mattresses. The current record is 863. The event is sponsored by the Lake Saint Louis Community Association Board of Directors with assistance from the Benevolent Society of Commodores and the Lake Saint Louis Police Officers Association. Registration for the event is from 1:00-3:30 p.m. in the LSLCA Clubhouse ballroom. Please register upon arrival. A suggested donation of $10 per participant or $25 per family. Cost is not required but suggested. 100% of the donations will go to "Project Zachary," a community based effort to assist the Blakemore family with making their home handicap accessible for Zachary. While the Blakemore’s are the inspiration behind Zachary’s Playground, "Project Zachary" is not associated with Unlimited Play.

Everyone will need to bring their own individual size air mattress for the event. No multi-person mattresses or floating island permitted. Float must hold air for the purposes of the record attempt. No foam mattresses or noodles permitted. Life jackets are required for participants age 10 and under. Individuals that wish to participate in this event should email worldrecordfloat@gmail.com and pre-registration information will be emailed to you. If you do not have email access, call 636-561-1861 in order to request registration information. Pre-registration is not required but is helpful.

Individuals, businesses or organizations can also participate by pledging a donation per floater in amounts starting at 10cents per participant. The donation amount will be capped at 1000 participants. Contact Greg Jones if interested at greg.g.jones@centurytel.net or at 314-308-5572. A limited number of commemorative t-shirts will be available at registration for $15. You can pre-order t-shirts by emailing your size and quantities to worldrecordfloat@gmail.com Pay for and pick up your shirts at registration on the day of the event. T-shirts are grey with a navy print. If you wish to make your donation by check for tax deduction donation, make check payable to Lake Saint Louis Police Officers Association.
